We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2023, at the age of 95, Hans Christian Lumbye Sorensen of Woodstock, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sorensen and Toudora Sorensen (Jensen); his wife Donna Jean Arendt; his sisters, Doris Witt and Astrid Rapp; his son Mark Steven Sorensen; and his granddaughter Margaret Ann Buchanan.
He is survived by: his children, Hans Michael Sorensen, Laureen Ann Buchanan (LeRoy) and Karen Louise Sorensen-Kindt (Casey); and his daughter-in-law Donna Sorensen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
