He was predeceased by: his parents, Willert Russel and Helen Russel (Parker); his sister Barbara Tindall; his niece Wendy French; and his nephew Kyle Pratt.
He is survived by: his wife Ella; his children, Todd Russel (Jessica), Carrie Russel, Haley Wisner (Mark) and Carly Macias (Tom); and his sister Judy French (Jerre). He is also survived by grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Helping Paws Animal Shelter (https://helpingpaws.net) or Amvets.
