He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Perkins and Florence Perkins (Peterson); and his brother John Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hagler; his children, Dale Perkins (Carol), Valerie Seyersdahl (Chuck) and Glen Perkins (Gilda); his grandchildren, Lisa, Kelly, Kate and Shannon; his great grandchild Mikayla; and his nephew John Perkins (Mary).
During COVID David and his daughter Valerie read several WWII books.
