It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Steinwehe of Woodstock, Illinois, born in Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert F. Steinwehe, and Ida Steinwehe, Sr. (Lange); his wife Irene Steinwehe (Olson); his children, Lynn Steinwehe (Carol), Debra Whiting (Randy Sr.) and Lisa Steinwehe; and his siblings, Edwin "Lefty" Steinwehe, Robert "Dutch" Steinwehe (Elaine) and Marion Reese (Charles).
He is survived by: his daughter Diane Marks (Michael); his grandchildren, Trace Marks, Randall Whiting Jr. (Melissa), Larry Ayres, Mike Ayres, Cortney Westbrook (Chad), Ashley Rainey (Mark), Cas Creighton (Tim) and Kim Ayres; his great grandchildren, Blake, Chase, Miles Westbrook, Ethan, Landan and Braelan Creighton; and his brothers, Don Steinwehe (Marylee) and Ray Steinwehe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
