He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde W. Jones and Florence Mildred Megginson Jones; and his sisters, Leona Thompson and Ida Mae Seymour. He is survived by: his wife Beth Krohn; his children, Jeffrey Jones (Janice Tharp) of Jacksonville and Marcy Fenelon (David) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Jake Jones of Jacksonville, Madeline Matson (Justin) of Auburn, Josh Fenelon (Katie) of Springfield and Dakota Fenelon of Springfield. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shriners Children's Hospitals or St. Jude Children's Research Hospitals.
