He was predeceased by: his father Ricardo Bird; and his sister Ana Bird Botrán. He is survived by: his mother Maria Bird; his children, Ricky Bird, Claire Bird and John Bird; his granddaughter Layla Hughes; and his siblings, MariCarmen Stubbe (Jerry) and José Bird (Carolyn Bird Salazar).
