She was predeceased by: her parents, William Murphy (Chicago Police Department) and Judith Murphy; her siblings, Brian Murphy, Carrie Wopinek (David), Jerry Murphy and Michael Murphy; her nephew David Wopinek; her niece Caitlin Wopinek; her uncles, Harold Murphy, John Lopez and Thomas Wolfe (Bolingbrook Police Department); and her cousin Michael Lopez (Chicago Fire Department).
She is survived by: her sons, Nicholas Castellano and Kevin Castellano; her aunts, Maureen Murphy, Andrea Wolfe and Meredith Lopez; her nieces and nephews, Timothy Wopinek (Orland Park), Gavin Murphy, Gabrielle Murphy and Grace Murphy; and her cousins, Kim (Rich), Johnson (Downers Grove), Kris (Jeff), Hagen, Tommy Wolfe (Laura), Daniel Wolfe (Bailey), Mat Lopez (Chicago Police Department) and Katie (Michael).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ the Servant Catholic Church (8700 Havens Dr, Woodridge, IL 60517). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
