He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Conant (Fluker) and Fred Conant; and his brother Gregory C. Conant. He is survived by: his wife Charlene (Slowiak); his children, James Jr. and Lisa; his grandchild Rhett; and his siblings, Lynda Mosier (Charles), Vincent Conant (late Karen) and Timothy Conant (Susan).
