With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Nekola of Woodridge, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Nekola to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Nekola; her son David Nekola; her sister Lavergne Vukov; and her parents, Frank Doleska and Josephine Doleska.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Nekola (Diane), Raymond Nekola and Wayne Nekola (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jennifer Wargo (Todd), Kimberly Nekola (Sean Malik), Adam Nekola (Nicole Cvetnic) and Kylie Nekola (Alex Rivera); and her great grandchildren, Deacon Wargo, Brooklyn Malik, Greyson Wargo, Maddie Malik, Colston Wargo, Ellie Cvetnic-Nekola, Norah Rivera and Margot Cvetnic-Nekola. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium (530 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440). A prayer will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel Prayers Begins. An entombment will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Clarendon Hills Cemetery (6900 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561).
