We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Charles G. Gettemy of Woodridge, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gettemy and Dorothy Gettemy; his brother Steven Gettemy; his father-in-law Leonard Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Shelton, William Smith and Vernon Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Wilda A. Gettemy; his sons, Charles L. "Chuck" Gettemy of Delray Beach, FL, Kenneth G. "Ken" Gettemy (Susan) of Yorkville, IL and Richard J. Gettemy of Woodridge, IL; his grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Joshua Gettemy, Lily, McKenzie and Sophie Gettemy; and his mother-in-law Edna.

Current health guidelines state that no more than 10 individuals at a time may pay their respects to the family, and guests are required to wear masks and follow social distancing procedures.
