With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Sackis of Woodridge, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sackis and Ruth Sackis (Mickey); his grandfather George Sackis; his brother John Sackis (Bud); and his brother-in-law Patrick Lunn.
He is survived by: his sister Karyn Sackis Lunn (Laura Ann Sackis); his sister-in-law Patricia Sackis; his nieces, Tracy Morton and Michelle Nightoak (Tom); his nephew John Sackis (Karen); his pets, Samantha and Seeker; and his close friends, Sherlene Miller (Derek Wlodarski), Steve, John and Keith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Black Cat Humane/Rescue Society or organization, or your local humane society.
