With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne M. Sernius of Woodridge, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martha Korn and Friedrich Korn; her children, Ruth Duszynski (John), Peter Sernius and Christine Zurales (Ted); her grandchildren, Beth Donoghue (Chris), Becky Wolkotte (Eric), Laurie, Katie Whisler (Tim) and Joe Duszynski (Jaclyn); her great grandchildren, Christalynn, Johnathan Wolkotte, Abby, Cassie Donoghue and Ben Whisler; her sister Marga Götteman; and her husband Domas Sernius.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Edward Foundation /Edward Elmhurst Health at eehealth.org and please specify the heart hospital or the cancer center.
