She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her siblings, Richard McDowell (Sandra) and Yvonne "Bonnie" McDowell. She is survived by: her children, John Patrick, Carl Aubele (Joan), Richard, Julia Ann Sampson and Harriet Marie Hughes (Donald); and her sister Julia Hnatiuk (late Michael). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
