He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Nadia Vaughan (Ronald), Tarik Baghdadi (Ghada), Reema Oliver (David), Alia Edwards (Jonathon) and Jamal Baghdadi; his grandchildren, Zackary, Rachael, Jereme Vaughan, Ali, Adam Baghdadi, Daniel, Autumn, Randal Oliver, Amber, Jared Casas and Hannah; his great grandchild Caleb Vaughan; and his siblings, Fatima and Hajar.
The title Mar-tor in the Muslim religion has been awarded to Ali due to COVID-19 ending his nearly life long journey to educate and defend the Palestinian cause.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the United Holy Land Fund.
