He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl David Doerner and Freda Edwards Doerner; and his brother Bradley Doerner (Winona). He is survived by: his wife Janice Doerner; his daughter Keisha Woodbridge; his granddaughter Madeline Woodbridge; and his stepchildren, Jacob Kuerth, Tammy, Jessica Kuerth and Jennifer Kuerth.
Memorials may be made in David's honor to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
