Pete Thiakos Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pete Thiakos in Woodlawn, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitrios Thiakos and Maria Thiakos; and his siblings, Vasiliki Manolitsis, Nick Thiakos (Sophia) and Eleni Thiakos.
He is survived by: his wife Angela; his daughters, Maria Wheeler (Tom) and Sophia Giesking (Greg); his sibling Tasoula Zavitsanos (late Socrates); and his sibling-in-law Theodosis Manolitsis (Ifigenia).
Due to the current Covid restrictions, a maximum of 50 persons will be allowed in the Church for the services.
In lieu of flowers the Thiakos Family kindly asks that you may consider making a donation in Pete's name to their beloved All Saints Greek Orthodox Church .
