He is survived by: his children, Frank Bechtel (Joyce) of Arthur, Ky Bechtel (Phyllis) of Mount Vernon and Mary Ellen Bechtel of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Neesa Hayse (Roger) of Woodlawn, JoEllen Blye (Darius) of Metropolis, Brittany Bechtel (Cody Benjamin) of Mount Vernon, Phillip Bechtel (Vanessa) of Champaign, Emily Bechtel of San Diego, Leah Bechtel Oganda (Pius) of Indianapolis, Macie Bechtel of Mount Vernon, Cayden Bechtel of Arthur, Kyle Waldon (Alexis) of Las Vegas and Tiffany Holder (Seth) of Texico, Illinois; his nephews, John Campbell (Connie) of Cape Girardeau and Myron Bechtel (Becky) of Florida; and his sister Mary Antoinette Campbell of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
