With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Skoryi in Woodlawn, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred Skoryi to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Skoryi; her parents, Eva Grubisich (Burian) and Vaso Grubisich; her siblings, Mary Schroeder (Irvin), Helen Grubisich, Dushan Grubisich (Milka) and Michael Grubisich; and her daughter Mary Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Brown (Richard), John Skoryi (Elizabeth), David Skoryi (Debra), Keith Skoryi (Kathy) and Richard Skoryi; and her siblings, Sophie Chuk, Martha Vuicich (Robert), Ely Grubisich and Peter Grubisich. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Joliet St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
