She was predeceased by: her father Robert Thomas; her brothers, Bobby Thomas and Johnny Thomas; and her parents-in-law, Bill and Ruby Pfolsgrof.
She is survived by: her spouse Oram Gene Peterson, Sr.; her children, Oram "Pete" Peterson, Jr. (Sheila) of Mount Vernon and Shavonna Sanders (Jim) of Woodlawn; her grandchildren, Erika Kehrer (Chad) of Woodlawn, Aaron Peterson (Brittni) of Dahlgren, Bryson Sanders (Katelynn Braddy) of Saint Charles and Breanna Sanders of Woodlawn; her great grandchildren, Jacie Kehrer, Lane Keherer of Woodlawn, Chloe James and Corbin Peterson of Dahlgren; and her brother Jimmy Thomas (Norma) of Mount Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Meca's honor to Woodlawn Christian Church.
