He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Buell and Sara Buell (Warner); his former wife Bonnie Buell (Rudland); his brothers, Monte and Phillip; his daughter Cathleen Killacky; and his stepchildren, Debra Haberkorn, Lori Mussario and Jeff Bettenhausen.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Karen Buell, John M. Buell (Adrienne), Lori Macaluso, Thomas (Michelle) and Steven Buell (Eryn); his siblings, Eve Pellettiere (Edmund) and Michael Buell (Judith); his grandchildren, Kelly Montoya (Ramon), Erin Cullison, Anthony Macaluso (Jennifer), Samantha Buell, Nicholas Buell, Kyle Haberkorn, Emma Buell, Holly Macaluso, Morgen Buell, Adam Buell, Thomas Buell, Joseph Buell and John Buell; and his great grandchildren, Carlos, Madelyn Montoya, Avanna Macaluso, Laikyn Novak and Michael Macaluso.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in John's name to Trinity Lutheran Church or Lightways Hospice.
