He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Germann. He is survived by: his mother Mary Davis (Ray) of Mount Vernon; his children, Michelle Witzel (Brian) of Mount Vernon and Jacob Germann (Rachel) of Edwardsville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Pacey Reynolds (Savannah Estes), Parker Reynolds, Eli Germann and Max Germann; and his siblings, John Germann of Marion, Jim Germann of Woodlawn, Genell Sloan of Ohio and Jennifer Neilson of Iuka, Illinois..
