With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmar Owens Jr. of Woodlawn, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Delmar Owens; and his sister Donna Lynn Crews. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Owens (Robison); his children, Delmar "Little Vernie" Owens III of Woodlawn, Cheryl Sharpe (Brad) of Woodlawn and Cindy White (Ron) of Collinsville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Bryson Owens (Jerrica), Cody Owens, Macey Sharpe, Gracey Sharpe and Noah White; and his sisters, Diana Hargis of Sesser, Martha Curry (Bob) of Sesser and Michelle Moore of Alto Pass, Illinois. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Delmar's honor to the Owen's family, in care of Brenda Owens.
