She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Huston and Merlene F. Huston (Lowery); and her brother Darrell G. Huston. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Huelskamp; her children, Daniel Heath Foster of Cincinnati, Michael Gabriel Phifer of Nashville, Illinois and Brandy Lynn Foster-Gau (Scott Gau) of San Carlos, California; her grandchildren, Savannah Foster of Cincinnati and Sydney Foster of Cincinnati; and her siblings, Michael D. Huston (Deidre) of Bluford, Illinois and Lori Banes of Woodlawn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Cheryl's honor to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
