He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dalby and Linda Kirk; his siblings, Terry Fields and Diane Bietch; and his mother-in-law Shirley Panzier.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Kirk (Panzier) of Woodlawn; his father-in-law Billy Panzier of Woodlawn; his children, Chad E. Kirk (Kiesha J. Kirk) of Woodlawn and Jessica C. Rector (Joey Rector) of Woodlawn; his grandsons, William Austin Lee Rector (Sydney Durham) of Woodlawn and Nathan Rector (Kylee Griffitts); his great grandchild Kayson Jo Rector; and his siblings, Tim Dye (Sarah Dye) of Mount Vernon, Paul Kirk (Angie Kirk) of Mount Vernon, Brenda Dalby of Springfield and Karen Gontarek of Springfield, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
