He was predeceased by: his father James W. Garrison. He is survived by: his mother Donna Garrison (Denning) of Mount Vernon; his fiancée Vicki Tinsley of Woodlawn; his brothers, Brian Garrison (LeeAnn) of Woodlawn, James Kevin Garrison of Ashley and Justin Garrison of Mount Vernon; his stepgrandson Benjamin Baker of Woodlawn; his aunt Nikki Moore of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his uncle Lonnie Denning of Carterville, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Brett's honor to the Garrison Family, in care of Brian Garrison.
