He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wessels and Theda Wessels (Rothfuss); his spouse Caroll J. McGary; his siblings, Frederick, Wesley Wessels, Winifred Burrow and Caroline ZumMallen; his son Bryan Wessels; and his grandson Quenton Rushbrook.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Wessels of Clifton and Julie Rushbrook (Kevin McGill) of Watseka; and his grandson Brandon Wessels of Jacksonville.
