He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cowser and Goldie Cowser (Hedricks); his wife Elnora Carlson; and his siblings, Charles, Richard, Lucille and Lurene.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Callanan (Bill) of Kennebunk, ME, Daniel Cowser (Kathleen) of Loudon, TN, Jim Cowser (Vanya) of Alpha and Larry Cowser of Woodhull; and his grandchildren, Ali, Ryan, Joshua, Deja, Bree, Kendra, Kassi and Michael. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Woodhull American Legion or Woodhull Cemetery Association.
