He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Carlson and Chrystal Samuelson Carlson; his daughter Kathy Heschke; his siblings, Maxine McKinley, Ralph Carlson and Raymond Carlson; and his sister-in-law Barbara Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Carol Behrendt of Polo, IL, Nancy Willard (Jeff) of Orion, IL and Bill Carlson (Colleen) of Woodhull, IL; his son-in-law Rick Heschke of Brownwood, Texas; his grandchildren, Greg Willard (Nickie), Christie Rangel (Kevin), Trevor and Tyler Carlson; his great grandchildren, Abigaille, Victoria, Isaiah, Titus and Madalyn; and his siblings, Norma Ingram (John) of Strawberry, Arkansas, Harry Carlson (Donna) of Woodhull, Harvey Carlson (Barbara) of Lynn Center, Wesley Carlson (Sandy) of Lynn Center and Robert Carlson (Glenda) of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
