He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Charmaine McKinley (Leffel); his wife Debi McKinley; and his brother Paul McKinley. He is survived by: his children, Beth Westlin (Steve) of Eldridge, Kristie McDonald (Ryan) of Milan, Sarah Morehart (Nathan) of Rock Island and Aaron McKinley (Courtney) of Rosiclare, Illinois; his grandchildren, Paige, Kyleigh, Peyton Westlin, Braeden, Kierney McDonald, Fisher, Elodie, Imogen, Davis Morehart, Logan, Kendall, Rylan McKinley, Reece, Ronan and Emmeline Bennett; his sister Melissa Thorngren (Dan) of Moline; his sister-in-law Connie McKinley of Rock Island; his nieces and nephews, Daniel Thorngren, Joseph Thorngren, Angela Hubbard and Amanda Pickett; and also, Kennith Bennett (Jamie) of Lake, Leramy Bennett of Woodhull and Breck Bennett (Anastasia) of Colona, Illinois.
