It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Taylor (Woodhull, Illinois), who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Baxter and Myrtle Anderson Baxter; her husband John E. Taylor August; and her brother John. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Voss of Alpha, Illinois and Jim Taylor (Karrie) of South Elgin, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jamee, Leigh, Darin and Troy; her sister Marie Wallace of Rushville, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Faye Baxter of Rock Springs, Georgia. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
In keeping with Covid-19 social distancing requirements, friends may pay their respects to Betty from 5-7 PM Friday April 24, 2020 at the Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull.
