He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Robert, Sr. and Annette McCauley (Goodnight) of Fosterburg; his spouse Dacia Grosenbacher; his children, Clayton McCauley (Olivia) of Havelock, NC and Marley McCauley of Godfrey; his stepsons, Dayson Strong of Cottage Hills and Ralph Alvarez, IV of Cottage Grove, MN; his stepgrandchild Ivy Strong; and his siblings, David McCauley (Nikki) of St. Peters, MO and Melissa Calame (Jonathan) of East Alton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marks Mortuary (633 E Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
