It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernie Richard Brand (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester J. Brand and Alma R. Brand (Fisher); his wife Trina Ann Wathern (Carr); his children, Joseph W. Brand, Jason R. Brand and Rachel M. Hall (Larry); his grandchildren, Brianne Rogers (Devin) and Nick Hall; his great grandchild Jette Rogers; and his siblings, Donald Brand, Bill Brand, Dave Brand and Rebecca Garrin.
