He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Leonard and Shirley Ann Oates (Moore); his wife Rhonda Beckwith; his stepmother Wilma Oates (Antrobus) of Godfrey; his children, Luke Bland (Georgia) of St. Louis, Kyle Bland (Madi) of Springfield, MO and Sarah Vambaketes; and his stepsisters, Christie Kamp and Dawn Oates.
