We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021, at the age of 81, Thomas L. Claussen of Wood River, Illinois, born in Bethalto, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas L. Claussen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Claussen and Harriett Claussen (Wulf). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Claussen of Wood River; his children, Michael Claussen of Wood River, Kathy Chaney (Mark) of Merritt Island, FL and Christine Walkenhorst of Bethalto; his grandchildren, David Hamilton, Phillip Hamilton, Brittany Lopez and Tarran Albert; and his siblings, Neil Claussen of Carbondale and Verda Jones of Bethalto. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions private services will be held with burial at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
