She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Grant and Mae Grant (Cletcher); her daughter Elaine Delap; and her siblings, Chloe Denny, Flo Hendrick, Helen Shelton, Kathy Douglas, Rosalie Tucker, Harold Grant, Dale Grant and John Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Lankford of Bunker Hill, James Beasley (Kris) of Wood River, Harry Beasley of East Alton, Roger Beasley (Frances) of Bethalto, Terry Beasley (Betty) of Wood River, Kevin Beasley of Bunker Hill, Wayne Beasley (Lori) of Wood River, Bruce Beasley (Cheryl) of Godfrey and Bryan Beasley of Bunker Hill; her son-in-law John Delap of Norris City; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Grant of Tulsa and Lynnette Grant of Jerseyville. She is also survived by two grandchildren, sixty – seven great grandchildren, fourteen great - great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home. Keep Sylvia's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
