It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Rhea (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Samuel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rhea and Veneta Rhea (Harrod); his stepdaughter Amy Garner; and his brother Stephen Rhea. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Susan King of Wood River; his sisters, Rise Isom of Wood River and Rosemary Rhea of Roxana; and also, Lee, Mia O'Daniell of St. Charles, Kerry and Joy O'Daniell of East Alton. He is also survived by ten step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren.
