Samuel R. Guarino Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2020, at the age of 91, Samuel R. Guarino (Wood River, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Guarino and Antoinette Guarino (Stassi); his children, John Guarino and Peggy Guarino-Brefeld; his sister Catherine; and his brother-in-law Sonny Tybrski.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Moore; his daughters, Betsy Williams (Scott) of Wood River and Paula Guarino (James Panyik) of Wood River; his granddaughters, Stephanie Dizmang of East Alton and Rachel Williams of Wood River; his nieces, Cynthia DePew (Jim McDonald) and Becky Thein (Wayne); his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Moore.
Memorials may be made to Alton 5 A's Animal Shelter and/or HOPE Center in Cottage Hills.
