He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Newby and Fayetta Newby (Ross); his grandson Carter Riley Newby; his brothers, Dean Newby and Larry Newby; his nephew Buddy "Joey"; and his niece Mary Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Daffron; his sons, Charles Newby (Tonya) of New Douglas and Andy Newby (Morgan) of Prairietown; his grandchildren, Caiden, Mason and Finley; and his sister Rachel McGee (Buddy).
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
