Roger Werts Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Werts (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Werts and Marcella Werts; his grandparents, Guy, Maude Werts and Addie Woodson; his son Bradley; and his siblings, Terry Halbach Sr. and Linda Hansen.
He is survived by: his spouse Bev (Mahanay); his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Danielle Werts of Wood River, IL; his granddaughters, Addison, Harper and Eliza Werts; his siblings, Wayne Werts of Maine and Cathy Favre of Bethalto, IL; his mother-in-law Evelyn Mahanay; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Ogle of East Alton, IL and Candice Mehmetli of O'Fallon, MO; his nieces and nephews, Tammie Halbach, Lisa Hansen, Steve Burk, MIssy Burk, Andy Ogle and Ela Mehmetli; his pet Savannah; and also Dan Werts.
Due to the current CDC guidelines, face masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Andrew Martin Memorial Scholarship Fund at Fosterburg Baptist Church.
