He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey East and Sophia East (Klug); his spouse Shirley Sumner; his children, Larry Liley of Hartford, Robin Manning of East Alton and Sondra Summers (Larry) of Bethalto; his grandchildren, Chris Summers (Wendy) and Jodie Bares (Chaz); and his siblings, Paul "Gene" East (Wanda) of New Douglas, Audrey East of Mt. Olive and LeRoy East.
