He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Womack and Muriel Womack (Harp); his son Thomas; his brothers, David Womack (Kara) of Grafton, IL and Tommy; and his sister-in-law Betty Womack.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson; his children, Robert Womack Jr. of East Alton, IL and Susan Gallacci (Chris) of Wood River, IL; his grandchildren, Jason Womack (Joy), Nick Womack (Megan), Zachary Womack, Kyle Womack, Katie Peck and Alex Spurgeon; his great grandchildren, Ian, Jason Jr., Laney, Mady, Luka, Audrey and Oliver; and his sister-in-law Barbara Freeman of Godfrey, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
