It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ree Baggett (Wood River, Illinois), born in Roxana, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Waltrip and Edna Waltrip (Wilson); and her stepfather Gene Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Barry J. (Stacey Baggett) and Darren T. (Mary Baggett); her grandchildren, Ashlynn Messick (Kevin), Austin Baggett, Dalton Baggett, Jessica Stutz (Casey), Jen Grover (Corey), Reece, Quinn, Cayden, Myla and Camden of Chase, JJ; her brother Terry; and her sister-in-law Gay Waltrip of Texas.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Roxana and will be accepted at the funeral home. Keep Ree's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
