With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Brown (Wood River, Illinois), born in Medora, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Brown and Jessie Brown (Esther); his former wife Betty Ann Madison; his sons, Kenton and Gary; and his siblings, Lester and Sarah Marie Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Waage; his children, Tammy DeRooy, Jamiee (Nolan Trewitt), Randy (Nancy Brown) and Damon Brown of Bethalto; and his daughter-in-law Julie Brown of Brighton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
