It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Gillison (Wood River, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Young (Eaton); and her sister Tracy Adams. She is survived by: her father Gene Adams of Brighton; her daughters, Ashley Wilkerson of East Alton and Heather Gillison; her close friend Seth Gelke of Champaign; her daughter Ariel Hoffstetter; her husband Ricky of Wood River; her grandchildren, Conner, Hunter, Erin Marie, Richard and Ian; her brothers, Jamie (Toni Adams) and Brian (Wendy Floyd); and her close friend Donald Walls of East Alton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
