It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Belle Baze (Wood River, Illinois), born in Rombauer, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Henry and Darlie Henry (Hood); her children-in-law, Ricky Brooks and Linda Baze (Hans); and her siblings, Arlene Smoot, Norma Osborn, Lucille Turner, Virginia Rawlings, Ruth Keber, Grace Dalton, Lillie Buchanan, Pansy Schuetz and Buford Henry.
She is survived by: her husband James B. Baze; and her children, Melinda Brooks of Alton, Debby Whitney of Alton, Illinois, James "Jim" Baze of Godfrey and Joseph "Joe" (Debbie Baze). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
