With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kayla J. Rea (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 35. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Delmar Buss, Verna Buss Wiser and Charles Rea. She is survived by: her parents, Frank Rea and Dena Rea (Buss) of Wood River; her grandmother Virginia Rea of Wood River; and her fiancé Kevin Dixon of Wood River. She is also survived by many aunts uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lifebrook Church (400 N Beau Chateaux, Bethalto, IL 62010).
