It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Turner of Wood River, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Porter and Alice Porter (Austin); her stepfather Jesse Buis Sr.; her siblings, Chuck Porter and Janet Porter; her stepbrother Jesse Buis Jr.; her in-laws, Harry and Edith Turner; and her sister-in-law Beverly Turk.
She is survived by: her daughter Lana Jane Weber; her grandson Lee Tinnon of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter-in-law Katie Tinnon; her grandchildren, Quincy and Cooper Tinnon; her sister Anna Dorner; her brother-in-law David Dorner; her brother Marty Porter; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Porter. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Kathy was an avid reader, and it is her wish that donations be made to the Wood River Public Library, 326 E. Ferguson Ave., Wood River, Illinois 62095.
