She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Korte and Helen Korte (Lawrence); her brother Jerry; and her siblings-in-law, Penny Korte and David Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Watson (Cindy Miller) of Metropolis, Jennifer (Rick McCall) and Jessica (Josh McDowell); her grandchildren, Lyndsey Watson, Jon McCall, Rachel McCall, Luke McCall, Aubrey McCall, Ethan McDowell and Myah McDowell; and her sister Judith Watson of Metropolis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
