James Richard Parker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Richard Parker of Wood River, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Parker, Sr. and Elizabeth'Dolly'Selph; and his siblings, William E. Parker, Jr. and Jane Parker LaBrot. He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Haasis (Keith) of Phoenix, Arizona, Theresa Smith (Marshall) of Port St and Elizabeth Parker (Tim Hinrichs) of Godfrey; his nieces and nephews, Brian Parker (Richelle) of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Peter Parker (Peggy) of Glendale, Missouri, Brigit Holt of Alton, Meredith Benson (Eric) of Beaverton, Oregon, Brianna LaBrot Taylor (Jason) of Beaverton, Oregon and Jolie; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Drake, Jackson, Luisa, Emma Parker, Elizabeth Krueger, Charles Holt, Heidi Benson, Rivers, Tegan Johnston, Blake, Calla Taylor and Marshall Smith IV; his siblings-in-law, Thomas LaBrot and Rita Parker; and also Nohealani Krueger. He is also survived by cousins and numerous friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rolling Hills Golf Course (5801 Pierce Ln, Godfrey, IL 62035).
