He is survived by: his spouse Leslie A. Spencer; his parents, Lawrence Burns of Collinsville and Joyce Williams (Harris); his stepfather Robert Williams of Glen Carbon; his son Jacob Burns of Boulder, Colorado; his stepsons, Robert Spencer (Ashley) of Wood River and Billy Spencer (Stephanie) of Mt. Morris; his grandchildren, Charlie Ann, Ramona, Margo, Sophia and Sonny Spencer; his stepsiblings, Dennis Williams (Debby), Robert Williams (Patty), Donald Williams and Dynel Harville of Edwardsville; and also Jacob. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other extended family and many cherished friends.
